The Wieliczka Salt Mine, the pride of Kings and an endless source of white Gold, has always astonished travellers. Also today, its historic chambers attract guests from all over the world. It is here, just a few steps away from the Daniłowicz Shaft, where languages, nationalities and cultures of the entire world blend, that the 4-star Grand Sal Hotel is located.
The cosy Grand Sal Hotel was created in the renovated building of the Salt Baths. The building dating from the turn of the 20th century was meticulously reconstructed on the basis of archival materials and according to conservators’ recommendations. The Grand Sal Restaurant in the hotel serves dishes specially created by the Chef himself as well as regional specialties. The dishes seasoned with the purest Wieliczka salt are delicious and satisfy the most refined tastes. In the summer, all the dishes served by the restaurant can be savoured at the outdoor terrace with the view of the historic St. Kinga's Park and the shaft through which tourists descend into the Mine.
